Our Purpose:  To help students know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, to equip them with knowledge and understanding of God's Word, to help them discover their unique gifts and give them opportunities to use those gifts in ministry to others.

We do this weekly through...

Youth Sunday School Classes (10-10:45am Sunday - upstairs in the Youth Wing)

6th & 7th Grade:  Our 6th & 7th Graders are led by Jeanene & Ross Wolfe.  They are using the GRAPPLE curriculum from Group Publishing to tackle tough faith questions like "How can God be everywhere?" and "Why does God let bad things happen?"  This curriculum has an exciting online component where, during the week, students view and vote on possible activities for the next Sunday's lesson.  Students can also connect during the week with the teachers and each other to encourage one another using what they learned in class.

8th Grade:  This group is led by Sharon Grogan & Nancy Stephenson and they are following the FUEL IGNITED video series from Lifeway.  Using dramas that depict issues students wrestle with every day, this series challenges students to live out their faith, showing them how to become leaders in every sense of the word...through relationships and influence.  It also helps them discover how God has called and gifted them to live.

Sr. High (9-12):  Our Sr. Highs are led by Nikki Kelsick, Deb Oelberg and Chuck Passarelli.  They use the KNOWN curriculum from Lifeway.  The series draws on scripture, current media, and experiences from the students' lives to help our Sr. Highs KNOW Jesus, OWN their faith, and make Him KNOWN.  This class also does occasional short-term topical and book studies such as Revelation.

REALife Youth Fellowship  (Dates, Times & Locations Vary)

For all Middle School & Sr. High youth and their friends.  Service opportunities & special activities (like road rallies, laser tag, movie nights, broom hockey, games at Brill Field, and bowling) give us the chance to get to know each other better and have fun in a relaxed atmosphere.  Check out the "Events" listing and watch for info in the church newsletter and Sunday Bulletin, on the youth bulletin boards, and through the weekly e-mail update.

And through our Wednesday Small Groups...

REALITY CHECK (6:15-7:15pm Wednesdays - September through April)

Small Groups for Middle School and Sr. Highs - Bible Study & Sharing in "same age" groups designed for students who want to grow in their faith with the support and encouragement of Christian friends.  Sr. Highs meet in the Youth Room and Middle Schoolers meet across the hall in the center classroom.

*Please note that participation in off-site activities requires that a valid Health Record & Medical Emergency Permission Form be on file with the Youth Director.  This form is good for one year (Sept. 1-Aug. 31).  Most off-site activities also require a separate permission form.  (All forms can be found under the "forms" section in the Youth tab on the main drop-down "Ministries" menu.)
