At CityGate, we are honored that you would consider worshipping the Lord together with us. As our guest, we want you to feel comfortable, experience the power of worship and the encouraging message. Friendly people will greet you and make you feel at home.
We know how important your children are to you and we take ministering to your children very seriously here at CityGate. We want you to know that we go through great lengths to provide a safe environment for your children. Your children are looking for a FUN place and we are here to meet those needs. During our weekend service and on Wednesday, we have programs for infants, toddlers, and children through 12 years of age.
On Wednesday evenings our youth (grade 7-12) meet for a time of learning, discussion and fun.
Our desire is to meet real life needs and that is more important than being concerned with what you wear to a service. Wear what feels comfortable for you and maintains a level of modesty. If you want to dress casually or wear your "Sunday Best", you'll fit right in.
You'll enjoy our passionate worship and upbeat musical style. You will hear a practical message that will help you in your spiritual journey and help you deal with real life issues. You will be our guest and we would be honored to have you be a part of our worship experience.
We are not affiliated with any denomination. We are part of a network of churches overseen by an apostle and a presbytery of apostolic men. Our government structure is being led by a team of elders with the Senior Pastor being the lead elder.
Sunday morning . . . . 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday evening . . . 7:00 p.m.
You will not be pressured in any way for any reason. We want you to enjoy your time with us. We don't believe that all Christians are to look the exact same way or to even act the same way. God gave us all distinct personalities and we encourage people to be themselves. We are not interested in producing "cookie-cutter" people. We want you to be you.
For 18 years our name was Christ The King Church. In June of 2008, we changed it to The CityGate at Dyersburg to better reflect our mission within our region. We believe that we are a gate into our city and region for God to bring forth His kingdom. A gate is an entryway. We are a spiritual entryway into our city and region.
