Preteen Ministry for children in 5th and 6th GradesThe goal of the Preteen Ministry is to reach boys and girls in 5th and 6th grades with Truth, Love and Commitment! Children in this ministry are taught the truth from God’s Word, that we are commanded to love God and each other, and that we should be committed to applying this truth and love in our daily lives. Preteens are also taught that sharing this truth and love with friends and neighbors is of utmost importance! Children in the 5th and 6th grades meet together for large group Bible study time before going to small groups for more personal discussion of real-life issues and questions. The leaders in our Preteen Ministry encourage participation through fun games and life-changing lessons. Kids can also connect throughout the week on a safe, secure website that provides communication with teachers and classmates while learning Biblical truth through fun games and activities. There are safety and security measures taken to ensure that the children are kept safe while in attendance at any of the Preteen programs. One of these is that all teachers and leaders are screened and trained. In addition to Sunday morning programs, we also offer Preteen Ministry programs on Sunday and Wednesday nights.
